A year and a half ago, two nights in a row, my wife woke me up with a weird snore:  The tip of her tongue was stuck out between her lips, and each time she exhaled I got a loud “Plfffff!” in my ear.

It's impossible for me to ignore a snore and get back to sleep, so I touched the tip of her tongue, which caused her to pull it back into her mouth and stop snoring.
