I dreamed that a man dressed in medieval attire and riding a horse blocked an airplane as it was preparing to leave the runway—which ran through a residential neighborhood. He demanded that a prisoner aboard the plane be released.
When his demand wasn't immediately met, the man trotted his horse up to the cockpit and, brandishing a claymore sword, he shouted, “I challenge thee to a duel!” He then dismounted and stepped back, leaving the horse next to the cockpit.
The pilot was pissed off about the delay, so he climbed out of the plane to meet the challenge. He examined the sword that had been left on the horse's saddle for him, but instead of drawing the sword he picked up a bow, which was also attached to the saddle with a quiver of arrows. Without a moment's hesitation he drew and released an arrow, striking one of the medieval guy's accomplices in the shoulder.
The pilot continued to fire a few more arrows at the medieval guy and his accomplices as they scattered. I was on the sidelines, but I raised my hands in surrender because I didn't want to get shot. Authorities rushed from the plane and tackled the accomplices. The medieval guy could have gotten away in the confusion, but he stayed around to throw his sword at the pilot then throw other random things he found on the ground. He looked so ridiculous that I started laughing. He then tried to hide behind a glass door, fearing being hit by an arrow, and was then apprehended.
