The Han Solo Adventures collects three novels:  Han Solo at Stars' End (1979), Han Solo's Revenge (1979), and Han Solo and the Lost Legacy (1980).  They were published within a few years after the release of the original Star Wars film, but take place before the film, revolving around Han Solo and Chewbacca's earlier exploits with the Millennium Falcon.

I've always been big fan of (pre-Disney^[1]) Star Wars, and my brother has all of the Expanded Universe novels, so I don't know why I haven't read more of the books, but this is the one of the few that I have.  I found the German-language version on clearance at a grocery store in Germany, then packed it away for when I would later have more time to read.

I got around to reading this collection in 2003, with a dictionary by my side, as on-line dictionaries like Leo.org weren't yet a thing.  I had figured that reading this book in German would expand and strengthen my language skills, and it certainly did as I had to painstakingly look up several unfamiliar technical terms.

It was a good read, and I'd like to read it again.
