I dreamed that I was working in a facility that was raising and studying the xenomorph facehuggers from the Alien films. There was a row of three or four jars containing the creatures on an island counter in the laboratory I found myself in. I happened to look over at them and discovered that two of the jars had been knocked over. I alerted another worker in the room and we hurried to contain the creatures. I grabbed one of the facehuggers, and even though it seemed to have no tail, it was a struggle to hold it in my hands.
After getting the escaped facehuggers under control, probably via sedation, I was instructed to place them in a containment area which was a large pen constructed out of 2x4s and OSBs, in the form of a square-stepped pyramid. It was initially in an underwater tank, but then the dream changed so that it was sitting in the middle of an empty lot. The pen was shoddily constructed, and after I dropped the two facehuggers in through a gap in the wall, I was supposed to close it up by shifting a board into place, but the board wasn't big enough to cover the gap.
I was afraid that I might get attacked by a facehugger, so I then ran away as quickly as I could until I'd put a few hundred feet between me and the lot, whereupon I stopped to look back and contemplated my fear of the situation.
I next found myself in a building, in a hallway, where another person accidentally ingested a housefly which had somehow been derived from the xenomorph, and he transformed into a three-dimentional Homer Simpson imbued with increased strength and resistance to injury. We were then attacked by a hord of zombies which had been created by the facehuggers—that is, they had been victims of our facehuggers, but instead of getting impregnated with xenomorph chestbursters they'd been transformed into the undead.
The zombies seemed to possess some intelligence, and Super Homer and I fought them in hand-to-hand combat. I threw one zombie through a closed window, shattering it, then threw another zombie out the window. I then woke up.
