Dog Screams in the Night

I dreamed that I was trying to close the garage door but cats and dogs kept running in and tripping the safety reverse, so I kept having to throw them out.

A puppy got its foot caught in the closing door, and I could hear it yowling outside, so I ran outside to help it.  It had pulled itself free of the door but its foot was swollen and hot, so I tried to cool it down with an orange Creamsicle.  The dog kept making a horrible little scream, then I woke up and realized the noise was actually my wife's breathing, so I touched her arm and woke her up.
