Radio reception is very poor where we live, so we don't even try to find a station at home. We rarely listen to the car radio on a drive that takes us into good reception range, as my wife and I listen to audiobooks when driving solo, or have a conversation when there are passengers.
One night I was driving home with my 10-year-old daughter A-Ko. She asked if we could listen to the radio, so I turned it on and found a station.
As we got closer to home, reception began to drop, exhibited by the occassional static. A-Ko said, “Dad, the radio just glitched!” I realized my kids are growing up in a very technologically different age as I explained how radio sound degrades as reception varies.
