Scheißtype translates literally to shitty guy, which isn't common vernacular among Germans, although it is common to put Scheiß- in front of nouns to convey contempt for them, e.g. “mein Scheißauto” for “my crappy car” or “meine Scheißwohnung” for “my crappy apartment.” There are plenty of other fun vulgarities that convey the sentiment of calling somebody a jerk, but the closest non-vulgar translation I've come accross is Gemeiner, which is more like meanie.
